Ek's company denies: "The rumors are completely false"
A rumor in the defense technology industry claims that Spotify founder Daniel Ek is about to take over the entire German AI defense company Helsing, where he is currently the largest owner with 17 percent of the shares and chairman of the board. This is stated by sources for DI who have not been able to confirm the information.
A spokesperson for Prima Materia, Daniel Ek's investment company, denies the information.
"These rumors are completely false. Daniel Ek does not plan to change his role in relation to Helsing," the spokesperson writes to Omni Ekonomi.

Ek is the largest owner in Helsing with 17 percent and currently holds the chairmanship. A rumor in the defense technology industry claims that he will “take over the entire company,” meaning either as executive chairman or both chairman and CEO.
DI has not been able to confirm the rumor.
