Thai Airways is not flying to European destinations but a special flight, TG970, will depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport in the early hours of Sunday July 5 to fly to Zurich. 2/6
Vajiralongkorn is currently in Switzerland with Suthida. The king and queen are due to board TG971 at Zurich Airport at 1330 on July 5, and will arrive at Suvarnabhumi around 0600 on Monday July 6. 3/6
After meetings in Bangkok with prime minister Prayut Chan-ocha and armychief Apirat Kongsompong, and some late ceremonies for Asanha Bucha day, Vajiralongkorn is due to board TG970 at around 0100 on Tuesday July 7, which means he will have only been in Thailand for 19 hours. 4/6 
This is the first visit to Thailand by Vajiralongkorn and Suthida since April 6 when they also spent less than 20 hours in the kingdom. 5/6
Vajiralongkorn spends most of the year at the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl in Bavaria with a large harem of women, while Suthida lives at Hotel Waldegg in the Swiss town of Engelberg. 6/6
