Strategist: Heavy Biden numbers should worry Democrats
Democrats need to wake up. That's what political strategist Donna Brazile, former party chairwoman, says, due to declining trust figures for President Joe Biden.
Added to that are numbers that indicate Donald Trump would beat Biden if there is a fight for the presidency between them.
Brazile says that Biden and his associates have not managed to get a clear enough message out to the voters.
- That should worry them.
Seven out of ten Americans believe that Biden is too old for another term as president.

The banking turmoil
Yellen still believes in the US banking system
Despite
three collapsed banks and two more on the ropes, Treasury Secretary
Janet Yellen believes that the US banking system is stable.
-
The banks have access to liquidity and are well capitalized and I have
confidence in the fundamental strength of the banking system, she tells
ABC News.
The
Minister of Finance adds that the authorities have taken measures to
ensure that the problems at a few banks do not spread and undermine the
confidence of customers who deposit money in the banks. In addition, Yellen is prepared to take further measures if necessary, she says in the interview. Photo from Allen, Texas, May 6. LM Otero / AP

In
addition to last night's shooting at a shopping center in Texas, the

January 21, eleven people were killed when a 72-year-old man went on an
