An attack on Crimea is an attack on all of Russia.

That's what Russia's Washington ambassador Anatoly Antonov says in his latest statement.

- The US has never been interested in peace, he writes on Telegram.

The US does not want peace between Russina and Ukraine. This is according to Anatoly Antonov, Russia's ambassador in Washington, according to the Russian news agency Tass.

US President Joe Biden has recently given the green light for third-party countries to supply the US-made F-16 fighter jet to Ukraine. The United States, and several other countries, are also offering to train Ukrainian fighter pilots in the use of the F-16.

- Such steps make it clear once again that the US has never been interested in peace, writes Antonov on Telegram.

It raises questions for the ambassador about NATO's future involvement in the war in Ukraine.

Attack on Crimea is attack on Russia

- Washington has got everyone in the G7 on its side when it comes to the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, they have seriously sharpened their attitude around two important issues. They give F-16 planes to the Kiev regime, as well as authorize attacks on Crimea with American and other Western weapons, writes Antonov.

He believes that an attack on Crimea would be seen as an attack on Moscow, or any other place in Russia.

- It is important that the US is fully aware of the Russian response.

"A symbol of war"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy attends a G7 summit in the Japanese city of Hiroshima. He has called the city a "symbol of peace". Anatoly Anotonov sees it quite the opposite.

- Hiroshima is now becoming a "symbol of war" as the USA incites through its actions against our country.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Gushko has warned of "colossal risks" if Ukraine is provided with F-16 fighter jets, reports Al Jazeera.

Biden: "Become insurance"

US President Joe Biden stands by his 'OK' to deliver F-16 planes to Ukraine. And he is sure that they will not be used on Russian territory.

"I have been assured that Ukraine will not use warplanes to enter Russian territory,"

Joe Biden said at the G7 meeting.

However, the US does not recognize Crimea as Russian territory.
