After counting the votes at 60% on Sunday night, the two opposition political parties, Pheu Thai Party and Move Forward Party, led the ruling parties clearly.
Paethongtarn Shinawatra and Settha Thavisin, candidates for the Pheu Thai Party's prime minister, said on Sunday night, asking everyone to wait for the official results as the votes of the Pheu Thai Party and the Move Forward Party are very close. If any party has the most votes, that party will form a government.
Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, head of the Move Forward Party and PM candidate, held another press conference to thank the public. He claims his party should have more than 100 seats and may have more than 160 seats. He confirmed his refusal to join "The Uncles," referring to the Palang Pracharat Party and the United Thai Nation Party.
Both Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha and Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan expressed appreciation for the people's voice.
"Two uncles" also refused to answer questions on the Move Forward Party's landslide victory in Bangkok and many provinces.

Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat celebrated with his supporters as the Move Forward Party won a landslide in Bangkok and had more seats in many provinces.
The opposition is heading for victory, but the leader calls for calm
Preliminary figures from Thailand indicate that the opposition party "For Thais" will become the largest party, as expected, several media outlets write.
With 30 percent of the vote counted, the party, led by Paetongtarn Shinawatra, looks set to get 134 out of 500 seats in Congress. However, Shinawatra urges his voters to remain calm and emphasizes that it is far from over, writes Bloomberg.
At the time of writing, "New Future" is the second largest party, while current Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha's "United Nation" party is third. The election is described as a struggle between a pro-democratic opposition and military-backed parties, such as "United Nation".
