The flight ban until April 6 is an inconvenience to Vajiralongkorn, who was due to return that morning for Chakri Day. He will probably be brought on an army plane, or on a plane classed as a repatriation flight. It is very unlikely he will be forced to quarantine for 14 days.
There are some fake news stories online saying that King Vajiralongkorn has died from COVID-19. This is not true. Vajiralongkorn is alive. It’s not known whether he has the virus.
