Report: AI part in two percent of jobs being threatened
Around 2 percent of jobs are threatened within the next five years. And AI could play a key role in that, according to a report from the World Economic Forum.
The WEF expects a high turnover of jobs in the labor market in the next five years, largely due to AI developments.
The conclusion is presented in a new report and is based on survey responses from 803 companies - which have been weighed together with labor market data on 673 million jobs from the UN agency ILO. The conclusion is that 83 million services will disappear and 69 million new ones will be added.
The net, 14 million, corresponds to a decline of 2 percent.
- Overall, the degree of change is quite high, says Saaida Zahidi, CEO at WEF, to CNBC.
