Over 80 dead in Gaza - just in the last 24 hours, according to Hamas.
Several of them civilians who desperately tried to rescue packages of emergency aid from the sea.
At the same time, some of the war's leaders met in two different summits.
The terrorist leaders in Tehran - ministers from Israel and the United States in Washington.
Intense ground fighting, airstrikes and casualties related to the humanitarian disaster continue to claim casualties in Gaza.
According to the Hamas-controlled Palestinian Ministry of Health, over 80 people have died or been killed in the past 24 hours alone.
That figure has not been confirmed by Israel or any independent media - but it is clear that the war continues to claim lives in Gaza.
Emergency aid landed in the sea
According to Hamas, at least 18 people died when emergency aid was dropped by parachute on Tuesday. Several are said to have drowned when they tried to salvage packages that had landed in the sea.

It is not the first accident in connection with emergency aid from the air.
Hamas has called on the outside world to stop delivering emergency aid in that way. At the same time, they accuse Israel of blocking aid convoys from entering Gaza by land.
However, the outside world, including the US's National Security Council, has announced that it is not the time to stop airborne emergency aid. Referring to the desperate situation the Palestinian civilian population is in since Hamas started the war.
Hamas: Children dead after attack on tent
Later in the day, twelve people are said to have died - among them several children - when an Israeli airstrike hit tents in a refugee camp in the coastal area of al-Mawasi.
The statement comes from Hamas. The Israeli military tells AFP that it is investigating the matter.

In total, over 30,000 people are believed to have lost their lives since the war began in October.
The power of meetings
On Tuesday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant in Washington.
According to the AP, Austin said, among other things, that the number of civilian casualties in Gaza is "far too high" and the amount of aid that arrives "far too low".
Yoav Gallant traveled to Washington after the UN Security Council voted on a ceasefire resolution on Monday.
The US refrained from vetoing the resolution - something that angered Israel.

In another part of the world, in Tehran, other men with great influence over the war met.
Terrorist leaders Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas and Ziyad al-Nakhala of Palestinian Islamic Jihad met with Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to discuss the situation in Gaza.
At a press conference after the meeting, the Hamas leader said they perceive the UN ceasefire resolution as a sign of increased political isolation for Israel. This is reported by Al Jazeera.

New report: Signs of genocide and ethnic cleansing
During Tuesday, the UN special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, submitted a raport to the UN Human Rights Council.
In it she writes that there are many indications that Israel has committed acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing during the war. This is reported, among other things, by The Guardian, which has read the report.
Israel has dismissed the report and accuses Francesca Albanese of anti-Semitism.
