Half of the voters want the EU to prioritize the climate
Over half of EU voters think that the fight against climate change should be a priority, according to a survey by Euronews and Ipsos. The perception is most widespread in Denmark (69 percent), Portugal (67 percent) and Sweden (62 percent).
The EU's climate policy faces the greatest opposition in Poland, the Czech Republic and Finland. In these countries, around a third of the population believes that climate change should be a priority for the Union.
According to the survey, the differences are small between the sexes and different age groups.

The gold find discovered in the newly purchased house of humor duo Carl Démans and Lucas Simonsson in Mölndal may be connected to a spate of eco-crimes in the 1990s when hundreds of small savers lost their money, writes GP.
On the inside of the boxes where the gold and platinum bars were stored is a company stamp from Tammstorp AB, which after a change of ownership over 30 years ago began offering private individuals to invest in, among other things, a commodity fund.
But instead of trying to grow the investments, the company used the money to cover its own losses. When the company finally went bankrupt, roughly 60 kilos of gold disappeared.

X usage in the US down by a fifth in a year
Daily Twitter usage has decreased by a fifth since Elon Musk took over the company and renamed it X, writes CNBC with reference to app data from Sensor Tower.
From November 2022 to February of this year, the number of daily users in the US has decreased by 23 percent, according to Sensor Tower. Several other social media apps have seen a drop but not as big a drop as X.
The company has not commented on the task, but Musk shared a post from X: "250 million users every day". That is a clearly higher figure than Sensor Tower's statement of 176 million daily users globally.
Globally, the app has lost 15 percent of users since Musk took over
