Opinion Guru: 99 per cent chance of Labor winning
The British Labor Party has a 99 percent chance of forming a government after next year's election. This is how the political scientist John Curtice expresses himself, who is regarded as Britain's leading "opinion guru".
- Are you surprised? It is clear that the Tory Party has a very small chance of being in government after this autumn, he tells Politico Playbook.
He also says that Labor led by Keir Starmer, should the situation arise, would be in a better position than the Tories to form a minority government, as the Conservatives "hardly have any friends" in the House of Commons.

Finnish general strike
The Finnish strike is extended by another week
The industrial strike in Finland has been extended by another week and will now last at least a month, writes Finnish Yle.
The trade union FFC decided on Wednesday that the strike should last until April 7 with the argument that the government lacks the will to compromise.
"This means that things continue to stand still in the Finnish ports, container transports stand still and also freight traffic via rail", writes Yle.
SSAB and Boliden have already flagged negative earnings effects as a result of the strike. When it was extended last week, Stora Enso also announced that it is scaling back production in Finnish plants.

Decision: The expulsion of Salwan Momika stands
The Migration Court has decided not to grant leave to appeal Salwan Momika's appeal against deportation, they write in a press release.
- The Migration Court's decision not to grant leave to appeal means that the Migration Agency's decision to deport Salwan Momika has legal effect, says Peder Liljeqvist, appellate court lawyer.
