Putin: We can give weapons to countries fighting the West
Russia may send long-range weapons to countries in conflict with the West, in response to the West arming Ukraine. This is what Russian President Vladimir Putin said at St. Petersburg's annual economic forum, Spief, writes TT.
- If someone thinks that it is possible to deliver such weapons to a war zone to attack our territory and create problems for us, then why do we not have the right to donate our weapons, Putin said.
He also directed criticism at Germany, which is one of several countries that now allows Ukraine to use donated weapons to attack targets in Russia. According to Putin, such an attack would "completely destroy Russian-German relations".

Russia on Thursday arrested a French national accused of gathering military information and failing to register as a "foreign agent". AFP writes.
The man arrested is Laurent Vinatier and works for the non-profit Swiss organization Center for Humanitarian Dialogue, which works to resolve conflicts.
