Billions from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine
EU foreign ministers have agreed to buy arms and support for Ukraine for 1.4 billion euros, according to Reuters. The money comes from the proceeds of Russian frozen assets and the support is the first of its kind from the EU.
Hungary has been completely opposed to the money being used in this way, but the other countries found a solution that bypasses the country's veto.
Hungary calls the rounding "shameless" and cast its vote when the other countries clubbed the proposal.

Relatives of dead soldiers blackmailed by gangs
Two Ukrainian gang members have been arrested on suspicion of extorting relatives of fallen soldiers. This is stated by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) according to Sky News.
Relatives of soldiers who die in battle receive compensation from the state. According to the SBU, the gang members must have found out who gets compensation and forced them to take a percentage.
The men are said to have received a total of five million Ukrainian hryvnias, roughly one million Swedish kronor. They risk being sentenced to twelve years in prison.
