Several are missing in the Philippines after severe storms
The eastern parts of the Philippines have been hit by severe floods, AP reports. During the night, people have, among other things, taken shelter on rooftops while major rescue operations have been underway in several areas.
The floods are due to heavy rain that moved in over the country in connection with the progress of the storm Trami in the region.
At least seven people have died and several are still missing. Local authorities have, among other things, closed public schools. Thousands of people have been evacuated.
