Mossad and CIA in Qatar - talks on ceasefire in Gaza

CIA chief Bill Burns and Mossad chief David Barnea are in Qatar for talks on a cease-fire in Gaza. On Sunday, they are expected to meet Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha, Reuters reports.

In the first stage, a shorter truce of one month is being negotiated, but with the possibility of an extension. At the meeting, the meeting will also discuss whether some of the Hamas hostages can be released in exchange for Israel releasing imprisoned Palestinians.

Netanyahu silenced by relatives: "My father was killed!"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was interrupted by relatives of victims of Hamas terror attacks as he gave a speech during a memorial service in Jerusalem. This is reported by AFP.

Netanyahu stood silent and motionless as relatives in the audience protested. In a live broadcast of the speech, Netanyahu is heard being interrupted for over a minute.

- My father was killed! shouts one of the demonstrators repeatedly.

Pressure on Netanyahu to reach an agreement for the release of hostages in Gaza has increased in Israel since the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. Critics in Israel believe that Netanyahu is standing in the way of negotiations on a ceasefire as part of the release of the hostages.
