Ukraine mobilizes 160,000 soldiers

Ukraine is making a mass mobilization.
In the next few months, 160,000 soldiers are to be recruited.
Ukraine has suffered heavy losses on the battlefield. Now a large mobilization is being done to resist Russian advances.
"There are plans to call up over 160,000 people," said Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Secretary General of Ukraine's Security Council, to the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday, reports the AFP news agency.
A security source tells AFP that the recruitment will take place over a three-month period.
10,000 North Koreans
Around 10,000 North Korean soldiers have been deployed to fight for Russia in the war. According to the Pentagon, many of them are currently being trained in Russia and will go to the battlefield "within a few weeks".A move that, according to leaders in the Western world, will intensify the war, which has soon been going on for three years.
NATO Secretary General Marks Rutte said on Monday that some North Korean troops are already in Kursk.
In, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj visited the Nordic Council meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland. He thanked the Nordic leaders for their support.
At a press conference, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson presented a new Swedish support package to Ukraine of SEK 490 million.
