Pilot panicked - threw drugs out of the plane
On Saturday, a French Rafale fighter jet was sent up to check a single-seat plane in the Ardeche region, reports AFP.
The pilot had flown through a no-fly zone near a nuclear power plant, and the manner in which he was flying had also raised suspicions.
When the plane met, the fighter pilot observed "very strange behavior in the cockpit, real nervousness," a military spokesman said.
After that, the pilot of the small tourist plane must have opened the door and thrown out several packages. On the ground, the police found a total of 15 packages containing over 30 kilos of white powder.
The man, who is a Polish citizen, was arrested after being forced to land. The equivalent of over half a million kroner was found in the cockpit.

The accusations against Bolsonaro
Conviction increasingly close for Bolsonaro in Brazil
The first of seven judges in the trial against Brazil's ex-president Jair Bolsonaro has voted to stop him from standing in the 2026 election. AFP reports.
The charges relate to a televised video meeting Bolsonaro held with foreign diplomats in July 2022, in the middle of the re-election campaign, where he made unsubstantiated claims about the legitimacy of the electoral system for an hour.
Bolsonaro is suspected of abusing his position of power to undermine trust in the electoral system and of having used state media to his advantage.

FI sees sustainability work - wants to counteract green painting
The Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) must review how companies report their own sustainability. The purpose is to counteract so-called green painting, where companies try to appear more environmentally friendly than they are.
FI must review a number of annual reports from 2022 to see if the sustainability report complies with the EU taxonomy regulation, which defines which operations are environmentally sustainable. The companies selected are a number of major banks and insurance companies.
- Investors and consumers need good access to relevant, comparable and reliable sustainability-related information in order to make sustainable investments, says FI's sustainability manager Johanna Fager Wettergren in a press release.
