President Vladimir Putin addressed the people after the Wagner Group's entry into Russia.  
 
- Russia is facing the toughest battle for its future, says Putin.  
 
As issued orders to "neutralize" the rebels.  
 
Wagner gorup leader Jevgenij Prigozjin demanded on Saturday morning that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov be handed over to his forces.  
 
The oligarch Prigozhin wants the military leadership to be "held responsible", among other things, for an alleged Russian attack on the forces of the Wagner group. Otherwise he will march to Moscow. 
 
At 09:00, Swedish time, Vladimir Putin  addressed the Russian regarding the development: 
 
- It is a dagger in the back of our country and our nation, says the president. 
 
- What we see is a betrayal.

President Putin also announced that he had issued an order to the military to "neutralize" those behind the rebellion. A rebellion Putin calls "the toughest battle for Russia's future", according to The Guardian.  
 
Putin also says that the Wagner group's "name and honor" have been betrayed by those trying to organize an armed uprising.  
 
Shortly before the president's speech, information came that the Wagner Group had taken new ground on its way to Moscow. They are said to have occupied military areas in the city of Voronezh, halfway to Moscow from Rostov-on-Don. The town on the Ukrainian border that the Wagner group first entered after reportedly leaving Ukraine.
