NATO vehicles used in Belgorod attack - raises questions about Kyiv's control
Russian militias fighting President Vladimir Putin used at least four military vehicles from NATO countries the United States and Poland in the attack on Belgorod last week, sources told the Washington Post. The vehicles were donated to Ukraine from the beginning, and now questions are being raised about whether the country has sufficient control over what is happening with the military support that the outside world contributes.
The vehicles used in the attack are of the MRAP type. Three of them came from the United States, and the fourth from Poland, the newspaper's sources state.
The fighting militiamen were also reportedly armed with rifles made in the Czech Republic and Belgium, according to photos verified by the Washington Post.

Report: Sargad "elite force" replaces Wagner in Bachmut
As the paramilitary Wagner group withdraws from Bachmut in eastern Ukraine, Russia has begun to replace them with regular soldiers, and in that, airborne VDV units are taking on an increasingly important role.
This is what the British Ministry of Defense writes in an update on Saturday.
The British further write that the paratroopers in the VDV have been regarded as an "elite force", which, however, has weakened since the large-scale invasion began. According to the information, however, Russia may have had some units as a reserve.
The British see it as likely that this move will make it more difficult for Russia to operate effectively elsewhere.
