Hints of new pressure on the Kremlin: "Things will happen"

Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky will talk after Thursday's summit in Paris about the future of Ukraine, and the message to Putin is clear, the American president tells CNN.

- He knows where I stand. Regardless of what decision he makes, we will either be satisfied or dissatisfied. And if we are dissatisfied, things will happen, he says.

On Wednesday, Trump hinted at further pressure on Russia to end the war in Ukraine, which was one of his election promises.

Kremlin: "Security guarantees a danger to Europe"

Russia is now warning Europe to implement the proposed security guarantees, reports TT. Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, says that they would become "a springboard for terror, for provocations against our country".

"They do not guarantee Ukraine's security, they guarantee danger to the European continent," she says.

The warning comes during an economic forum in Russia and is aimed at European leaders ahead of their talks with Zelensky on Thursday, which will include such security guarantees.
