Former MI5 chief: We are already at war with Russia
Russia is going to war with Britain. That is the conclusion drawn by Eliza Manningham-Buller, former head of the British security service MI5, in the podcast “Lord Speaker’s Corner”.
– It is a different kind of war, but the hostility, the cyberattacks, the physical attacks and the intelligence work are extensive, she says.
Among other things, Russia is considered to have escalated cyber attacks against British targets and Moscow is accused of ordering an arson attack on a warehouse in east London that stored materials for Ukraine last summer.
Manningham-Buller refers to a statement by Russia expert Fiona Hill in an interview with The Guardian this summer. Hill then made the assessment that Russia is waging war against the West. Manningham-Buller agrees with her and believes that the change has occurred with the war of invasion in Ukraine.
Zelenskyj wants to build air defense together with Europe
Ukrainian
President Volodymyr Zelenskyj wants Ukraine and Europe to develop a
joint “air defense shield” to protect themselves against Russian
attacks, writes Reuters.
According to Zelenskyj, Ukraine’s experience from the war would be valuable for Europe.
–
Ukraine can repel all Russian drones and missiles and if we work
together we have enough weapons and production capacity, says Zelenskyj.

"Kyiv has Trump's permission to strike deep inside Russia"
US President Donald Trump has given Ukraine the green light to carry out attacks deep inside Russia. This is what US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg says in an interview with Fox News.
- If you look at what Trump said: the answer is yes. Use the opportunity to strike deep. Nothing is guaranteed, he says in response to the question of whether Kyiv has received the Trump administration's permission.
The statement comes after Trump wrote on Truth Social last week that he believes it is possible that Ukraine can regain all of its territory and perhaps "more than that". It has been described as a violation of his previous position that Ukraine should give up land in exchange for peace.
