Explosion caused Russian freight train to derail

An explosion has caused a Russian freight train to derail in the Bryansk region of Russia, AFP reports.
The train was carrying, among other things, oil, which caught fire after the explosion.
The Bryansk region borders Ukraine and Governor Alexander Bogomaz writes on Telegram that it was an "unidentified explosive device" that caused the train to derail.
- No one was injured and rescue personnel are on the scene, writes Bogomaz on Telegram.
According to the Russian railway company, the explosion occurred in the morning.

Shipped oil
Pictures from the scene show several derailed wagons lying on their side. Smoke also rises from one of the wagons that has started to burn.
The train is said to have been carrying oil, which caught fire when it derailed, reports the Russian state news agency TASS. Traffic on the route has been closed.
"Necessary to attack Russian logistics"
At the moment, it is unclear who or what is behind the explosion that derailed the train in Bryansk.
But yesterday, Ukraine claimed responsibility for the attack on an oil depot in Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula. The attack was part of preparations for a counteroffensive, The New York Times reported.
Then the spokesperson for the Ukrainian army, Natalia Humeniuk, said that it was "necessary to attack Russian logistical capacity before the counter-offensive
