Middle East Crisis

Strait of Hormuz
Iran threatens new attacks if US attacks ships

Iran's military threatens "heavy attacks" against US targets in the Middle East if Iranian ships are attacked, writes the Revolutionary Guard's naval command on X.

The Revolutionary Guard's air force also writes in a post on Telegram that "robots and drones are aimed at the enemy" and that they are waiting for orders to open fire, reports CNN.

The situation in the Strait of Hormuz has been increasingly tense in recent days. The US is still maintaining a blockade of Iranian ports, and on Friday the US military struck two oil tankers sailing under the Iranian flag, which according to the US were trying to bypass the blockade.
