102 passengers and 13 crew members on the Caribbean Princess cruise ship have been infected with the norovirus, which causes winter vomiting disease. This is reported by ABC News, citing the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In response to the outbreak, the crew is said to have increased cleaning on the ship and isolated the people who fell ill, as well as collected stool samples from them for testing.

The ship, which has just over 3,000 passengers, is currently in the northwest Atlantic and is expected to reach Port Canaveral in Florida on Monday. The cruise's final destination is the Dominican Republic.
