Summer OST train cancellation in Paris
Motive still unknown after the sabotage in France
It is still unclear who was behind yesterday's attack on the rail network in France and what their motive was, writes Le Monde.
The attack - which occurred a few hours before the opening of the Olympics in Paris - led to traffic disruptions in several parts of the country. It was about arson and vandalism.
The attacks indicate that the perpetrators have a good knowledge of key areas of the rail network, according to sources Le Monde spoke to.
Traffic is gradually resuming, but disruptions are expected to continue over the weekend, reports the French public service site France Info.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the sabotage.

Swedish triathlete about swimming in the Seine: "Stupid idea"
The Swedish triathlete Tilda Månsson is critical of competing in the Seine during the Olympics in Paris because of the risk that the river's water quality is not up to par, reports TT. After she was hospitalized in connection with the swimming in a World Cup competition in Hong Kong, she does not want to try swimming and risk getting sick again.
- I feel that it is a bit of a stupid idea, she tells TT.
According to her, there will not be many people who will jump in the days before. Many will instead let their coaches or national team managers test swim.
In Månsson's case, it is her brother and trainer Hampus who will test the waters.
