Iran warns Israel of "stupid behavior" in Lebanon
Iran warns of the consequences of Israeli attacks on targets in Lebanon, reports AFP.
Israel will bear full responsibility for "the unforeseen consequences of such foolish behavior," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani, according to the news agency.
Israel has singled out the Iran-backed Lebanese militia Hezbollah as responsible for an attack that killed at least 12 people in the Golan Heights on Saturday night. On Sunday, the Israeli military stated that it struck a series of targets inside Lebanon.

Druze united in grief: "Unacceptable and shameful"
The attack on the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights has been condemned by leaders of the ethnic group in both Israel and Lebanon, the Times of Israel reports.
- I am in contact with Druze all over the world, including in Lebanon. They condemn what happened and share the grief of the families, says Muafek Tarif, spiritual leader of the Druze in Israel.
The Lebanese Druze leader Walid Junblat calls on all involved not to escalate the conflict.
- Harming civilians is unacceptable and shameful, regardless of whether it is in the occupied Golan Heights or in southern Lebanon, he says according to Ynet.
Just over 140,000 Druze live in Israel, mainly in the northern parts of the country.

Israel's response: Attacks several targets "deep inside Lebanon"
Israel has attacked targets linked to the terrorist group Hezbollah both "deep inside Lebanon" and in the southern parts of the country, the military writes on Telegram.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ended his trip to the United States early yesterday after an attack on an Israeli soccer field in the occupied Golan Heights killed 12 people. According to Netanyahu, Hezbollah will "pay dearly" for the attack.
