Foreign Sriracha sells online for hundreds of dollars  

 

The drought in Mexico has led to a shortage of jalapeños, the key ingredient in making Sriracha chili sauce. The manufacturer Huy Fong Foods has been forced to reduce production and fans of the original are not satisfied with other variants, writes The Guardian.  

 

According to The Hill, bottles of Sriracha sell for $70-$100 or more on Ebay and Amazon.

Foreign Poland sends 500 police officers to the border with Belarus  

 

Poland is sending 500 police officers to the border with Belarus to strengthen security, writes Politico.  

 

They join 5,000 security guards and 2,000 soldiers already stationed in the border region.  

 

The decision was taken after 187 people illegally tried to enter the country from the Belarusian side on Saturday, according to Poland.

Data on several dead in mass shooting in Baltimore  

 

Several people have been killed and dozens injured in a mass shooting in Baltimore in the United States, police confirm according to AP.  

 

According to witnesses, hundreds of people had gathered for an event when the shooting occurred.  

 

Fox45 reports that ten people have been taken to hospital. A further 19 are said to have made it to hospital on their own.
