Continued attacks on Nuseirat after the school attack

Israel continues attacks on Nuseirat – the same area that houses the UN school that was attacked on Thursday, several news agencies report.

During the night of Friday, about ten Palestinians are said to have been killed in Israeli air strikes, AP writes with reference to local health authorities in the Hamas-controlled area.

According to the news agency, Israel's military (IDF) said on Friday that they continued military operations in central Gaza. Al Jazeera also writes that the IDF claims that around a dozen terrorists were killed in the area.

Activists are carried out of KTH – 19 have been detained

19 people have been detained after they entered the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and barricaded themselves in a room, several media reports. The activists chanted "Palestine, Palestine" and hung Palestinian flags around the house.

The barricading began at lunchtime and at 2pm the police entered the university, write Aftonbladet and Expressen. According to TV4 Nyheternas' reporter on the spot, the protesters are being carried out one by one.

The police are investigating the incident as illegal trespassing.
