Propaganda speakers at the border after "balloon wars"
North Korea has once again sent balloons - around 330 of them - filled with debris across the border into South Korea, according to the South Korean military.
After a security meeting, South Korea will on Sunday activate a loudspeaker at the border, news agencies report. The propaganda speaker is expected to play criticism of North Korea.
Earlier this week, a South Korean activist group sent ten balloons containing, among other things, k-pop and leaflets with critical messages against Kim Jong-Un.

Victims of Propaganda: Tired Soldiers Making Mistakes
Tensions on the Korean Peninsula are escalating as South Korea is now preparing loudspeaker systems on the border with North Korea to trumpet propaganda critical of the regime. Political scientist Niklas Swanström tells SR Ekot that North Korea will respond with the same coin - and that the soldiers of the demilitarized zone will suffer the worst.
- No military will be able to sleep. It leads to more tired soldiers at the border, who will make mistakes more easily.
In the past week, the countries have sent a large number of balloons across the border, filled with, among other things, k-pop and leaflets with critical messages against Kim Jong-Un, respectively cigarette butts and other rubbish.
Kim's sister warns the South: Very dangerous situation
Kim Yo-Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, says South Korea can "expect a response" after the neighboring country installed a loudspeaker system along the border. This is reported by AFP with reference to the North Korean news agency KCNA.
Kim Yo-Jong describes the situation as "very dangerous":
- If South Korea chooses to engage in loudspeaker provocations, the country will, without a doubt, get to hear our new response.
