The situation in North Korea
Expert: The dictator's plan for his daughter is revealed by her clothes

The daughter of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un - Kim Ju-Ae - is seen as a likely successor to her father. This is the assessment of South Korea's intelligence service after she accompanied him on several official missions. But her style of clothing also reveals that she is being trained to lead the country in the future, writes the BBC.

The first time Ju-Ae was seen in public, she was probably nine years old. Now she is estimated to be around 13 years old and her style has clearly changed in recent years, according to experts.

Recently, she has often been seen in exclusive clothes, leather jackets and furs - sometimes with sunglasses. Her style is described as elegant and sophisticated, which may be a way for the regime to portray her as more mature and authoritarian despite her young age.

At the same time, Ju-Ae's use of Western fashion attracts attention because some garments are forbidden for ordinary North Koreans. She has been seen wearing a Christian Dior jacket.

- No matter how much they ban foreign culture and introduce new laws, North Korea is a place where there is nothing the supreme leader cannot do, says expert Cheong Seong-Chang.

Forest fire near Chernobyl after drone crash

A large forest fire is raging in the Chernobyl exclusion zone after a drone crash near the nuclear power plant, AFP reports. The fire has so far spread over about 1,100 hectares of land, according to Ukraine's state rescue service. The agency says gamma radiation in the area is within normal limits.

The fire broke out on Thursday and is spreading quickly due to strong winds. Rescue work is being hampered by dry weather and the risk of mines in parts of the area. It is not clear whether the fire is moving towards the old nuclear power plant.

Ukraine has previously accused Russia of exposing nuclear facilities to risky attacks. The area has been cordoned off since the 1986 meltdown.
