Bulgarians go to the fifth parliamentary election in two years
Bulgarian conservative veteran Boyko Borissov and his Gerb party won parliamentary elections last fall, but have failed to form a government. Therefore, the country is heading for its fifth election in two years on Sunday.
Borissov is being investigated for corruption, and most other politicians do not want to cooperate with him, writes DN. However, other parties have also not succeeded in forming a basis for government.
Both Gerb and the PP-DB coalition have around 26 percent support ahead of Sunday's election, according to Politico's compilation of opinion polls.

Bulgaria accuses the Kremlin of bomb threats against polling stations
Bulgaria accuses Russia of bomb threats against polling stations in Sunday's parliamentary elections, Euractiv reports. In the past week, hundreds of schools, which are to be used as polling stations, have had to close due to email threats.
However, Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev promised on Friday that it will be safe to go to the polls in an attempt to reassure the population. The buildings will be searched before Sunday and there will also be a big security effort on election day, Demerdzhiev promised.
No bombs have been found despite the threats.
