Air France is expected to take a big loss during the Paris Olympics

The Summer Olympics in Paris are expected to be a losing business for the airline Air France-KLM, which lowers the revenue outlook by almost SEK 2 billion. The company says so in a press release.

The reason is that many tourists who otherwise flock to the capital during the summer are expected to avoid the Olympics in particular, while the French are expected to stay in the country or change their travel plans, the company writes.

"On the international market, you see a clear avoidance of Paris," writes Air France-KLM.

Confirmed: EU accuses Meta of breaking the law

The EU accuses Meta of violating competition rules for digital services. This is confirmed by commissioner Thierry Breton at X. The accusations come a week after Apple was accused of breaking the rules.

The criticism against Meta is mainly about the fact that users of, for example, Facebook and Instagram have been given a choice between paying for the services or letting their data be used, writes the Financial Times.

If Meta is closed, the company may be ordered to pay 10 percent of the company's global turnover.
