Elon Musk supports the German far-right party AFD.

Today he appeared at their campaign meeting.

– I think it is important that people (in Germany) should be proud to be German, he says, among other things.

Multi-billionaire Elon Musk appeared via video link at the German far-right party AFD's campaign meeting held in the city of Halle on Saturday. This is reported by several international media.

– I honestly think there is too much focus on the shame and guilt of the past, and we have to move on from there, says Elon Musk.

On February 23, there are elections in Germany. Before that, Elon Musk has expressed his support for the AfD several times, and among other things said that only they can “save Germany”.

He has also previously shown support for other European far-right parties, including in the UK and Italy.

“You are truly the greatest hope for Germany,” he says.

At the same time that the AfD had its meeting, massive protests against the party were held in several parts of the country.
