Greenland's future
Trump on Greenland: "I think we'll get it"
US President Donald Trump has once again spoken out about the future of Greenland, reports the BBC.
- I think we'll get Greenland, Trump told reporters who traveled with the president on Air Force One on Saturday.
The statement comes after Danish Prime Minister Mette Fredriksen reiterated in a phone call with Trump earlier this week that Greenland is not for sale.
In a call with reporters last night, Trump said that it would be "very unkind" of Denmark if they did not allow Greenland to become part of the United States.
Trump has previously said that he does not rule out military pressure on Denmark to seize Greenland.
Elon Musk vs Europe
Expert: Musk's statement sows doubt - and that's the point
Elon Musk's speech at the German far-right party AFD's campaign rally is another sign that he wants a world ruled by reactionary far-right forces. This is what Lasse Josephson, a Norwegian journalist specializing in right-wing extremism, tells Dagbladet.
Josephson has followed Musk's statements over the years and believes that he is now flirting with the far right all over the world. On Saturday, Musk said that the AfD is "Germany's future" and that the "future of civilization" depends on the German election.
When such influential people as Musk make such statements, the effect is that people begin to doubt, says Josephson.
- Doubt and confusion are useful tools for extremist actors. Then they can get away with a lot.
The AfD, or Alternative for Germany, is a party with links to neo-Nazism.
Political crisis in South Korea
South Korean president indicted after state of emergency
South Korea's suspended president Yoon Suk Yeol is being charged with a crime after he temporarily imposed martial law in the country in early December. This is reported by the South Korean news agency Yonhap.
Yoon is accused of attempting to carry out a coup d'état through his actions. He thus becomes the first sitting president in South Korea to be arrested and charged with a crime.
The announcement of the indictment comes after anti-corruption investigators in the country recommended that he be formally charged.
Yoon has previously denied any wrongdoing.
Political situation in Greece
He did not become president now – but he will soon
The presidential election in Greece is moving on to a second round of voting. No candidate received the support required in Saturday's vote in parliament, writes Bloomberg.
To win, 200 out of 300 members of parliament were required to give their thumbs up. But the conservative government's candidate, Konstantinos Tasoulas, received only 160 votes.
The next attempt will take place in five days. If that also fails, the requirement will be lowered to 180 votes in the third round and 151 votes in the fourth and final round. Everything indicates that Konstantinos Tasoulas will eventually become president.

Russian invasion The world's response
Diplomats: Ukraine must be exempted from aid freeze
American diplomats in the State Department are requesting that aid to Ukraine be exempted from the decision to stop all aid from the United States, reports the Financial Times. Donald Trump and his Secretary of State Marco Rubio have decided that all aid should be put on hold, with the exception of Israel and Egypt.
"We do not know at this time whether this request will be approved, in whole or in part, but there are positive signals from Washington," reads an email sent to aid workers in Ukraine on Saturday, according to the newspaper.
The FT also writes that some organizations were ordered to stop working on Saturday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj claimed on Saturday that American military aid to the country had not been stopped.
