Ukraine's anger and concern: Hypocrisy - our lives are being devalued
The success of shooting down Iran's robots and attack drones over Israel shows what support Ukraine also needs - and what can be achieved if the country receives such support from the West. That was the message in President Volodymyr Zelensky's evening speech, several media reports:
- The whole world witnessed an allied operation in the sky over Israel and the neighboring countries. It showed how truly effective unity in defense against terror can be when it is based on sufficient political will, he said.
Anger and disappointment are spreading among the population that Ukraine's allies have not given the same support that Israel has received, writes the New York Times.
Kharkiv resident Amil Nasirov describes the difference as "hypocrisy":
- It feels like Ukrainian lives are being devalued.
