Israel's finance minister wants to see a strong response after Iran's massive drone attack.

Iran's president responded on Wednesday with a threatening warning.

- The smallest Israeli invasion will receive a massive and harsh response, said Ebrahim Raisi.

The conflict between Iran and Israel does not seem to be cooling down. High-ranking people from both countries have threatened revenge.

- The smallest Israeli invasion will receive a massive and harsh response, said Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday, AP reports.

The president issued the warning during a speech at an annual military parade. A parade that is usually broadcast live from a highway south of the capital, Tehran. This time, however, it was held anonymously in barracks north of the city.

Response to attacks

Iran's consulate in Syria was completely destroyed in an Israeli airstrike in early April. About ten people died, including two generals.

- According to our intelligence service, this is not a consulate or an embassy. This is a Quds Force military building disguised as a civilian building in Damascus, Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari told CNN after the attack.

The Iranian response was hundreds of robots and drones fired at Israel. They were able to stop almost the entire attack with their advanced air defense system and with the help of the United States and Great Britain, among others.

Want to see forceful response

There have been constant responses to the aggressions. British Foreign Secretary David Cameron expressed his concern  about the next response to Reuters.

- We hope that it happens in a way that escalates the situation as little as possible, says Cameron.

But Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich disagrees. He wants to see a strong response, writes CNN.

- They will regret the moment they even thought of firing the tank, says Smotrich.

- The answer should shake Tehran so they understand that they should not mess with us.

At the same time, there are disagreements in Israel's war cabinet.According to sources to CNN, part of the group wants to see a quick response against Iran in order to more easily gain international support for the attack. But Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is said to have taken a restrained approach, in line with the one Cameron urged. Regardless of when and how, however, it has been announced that there will be an answer.
