Russia strikes back.

Now Europe is being warned after the new announcements.

- A danger to your safety.

French President Emmanuel Macron repeated his earlier message on Thursday that it may be appropriate to send troops to Ukraine.
"Dangerous"

At the same time, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron was visiting Kiev and said that Ukraine has the right to strike back against targets inside Russia.

The statements are more offensive than what representatives of NATO countries have been in their support for Ukraine earlier during the war.

Today Putin hit back through his spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

At a press conference in Moscow, Peskov called Cameron's statements "dangerous" and "escalated".

Warns Europe

He also said that Macron's and Cameron's announcement "potentially poses a danger to Europe's security, to the entire European security sphere".

- We see a dangerous trend towards escalation in official statements. It increases our concern, says Peskov according to AFP.

From the Russian side, it is believed that the new messages from France and Great Britain are proof of NATO's direct involvement in the war and the defense alliance's hostile view of Russia.

It was in an interview with the newspaper The Economist that Macron said that the question of Western troops in Ukraine would be "legitimately raised" if Russia broke through the Ukrainian defense lines and if Kiev so desired.

"No reservations"

Cameron, for his part, said on the spot in Kiev that Ukraine "is absolutely within its full right to strike back against Russia" and that the British government "has no reservations" about the way the Ukrainian army uses British weapons.

In recent times, Ukraine has repeatedly struck with attack drones against Russian oil refineries and fuel depots far from the border.

It has been said that these operations are justified responses to similar Russian attacks.
