Data: Russia jams Ukraine's GPS munitions – explains Russian superiority
Several types of GPS-guided munitions sent from the United States to Ukraine have ceased to be used because Russia managed to disrupt them, American and Ukrainian sources told the Washington Post.
It is described as an important explanation for Russia taking over the initiative on the battlefield, and is said to have caused Ukraine to turn to the Pentagon in the hope of updates from the manufacturers. Among other things, it will be about the GPS-guided artillery shell Excalibur, whose technology is said to have "lost its potential". The accuracy is said to have fallen sharply and is no longer supplied by the United States.
An American source says that Russia is using electronic warfare to an increasing degree, but that American-Ukrainian cooperation in the area is developing so that Ukraine "has the capacity they need."

Ukraine hits back at Putin - refuses to "kneel"
Proposals for a cease-fire based on the current front lines in Ukraine remaining "disgusting". This is what President Volodymyr Zelenskyi's advisor Mychajlo Podoljak writes on X, after Russian information claims that Putin is open to such a truce.
Podoljak sees it as the Kremlin "mockingly" wanting European democracies to bow to Russia and for Ukraine to give up territory.
Putin has said later on Thursday that peace negotiations are required, but it is not clear under what conditions, other than that the Kremlin wants it to take place with regard to the "situation on the ground".

Swedish NATO general on Russian threats: "New normal"
That Russia is said to want to move forward its sea border towards Finland and Lithuania is not surprising at all. That's what Sweden's future NATO general Torbjörn Sahlén says in TV4's Nyhetsmorgon.
- This is the new normal and another example of the hybrid warfare that Russia engages in, he says.
He says the Kremlin's goal with hybrid warfare is to create uncertainty among international decision-makers, and he believes more similar events will occur in the future.
Torbjörn Sahlén was elected as Sweden's NATO general at the end of April and his service starts in January 2025.
