The plane departed from Zurich more than four hours late. This is normal for Vajiralongkorn who is always chronically late for everthing. It will arrive at Suvarnabhumi around 0900 on Thursday morning. 3/7

Vajiralongkorn and Suthida will spend less than 24 hours in Thailand before flying back to Zurich on the same Thai Airways plane, scheduled to depart at 0105 on Friday. 4/7

It will be a tense time in Bangkok as Vajiralongkorn's visit follows the weekend's historic protest demanding reform of the monarchy at Sanam Luang. 5/7

hursday is Mahidol Day and Vajiralongkorn and Suthida will visit the statue of Prince Mahidol at Siriraj Hospital. Meanwhile, protesters will be holding a rally at Government House. 6/7
